Man, you have so many tips here and I didn’t know about any of them. Maybe I haven’t been camping enough? After reading these tips/tricks, I’m excited to hit the great outdoors just to use them. I mean, the eggs in a jar thing is so simple, but useful. Eggs were the last thing I would think of bringing on a camping trip, lol. Thanks for the tips man!
Hey John, I know right, there’s a lot of little tips and tricks that people can be using on camping trips to make life a lot easier but they’re hardly using them. That’s why I decided to write this article to let people know some easy ones to try out, because they’re not really that hard. Thanks for the comment!
This article is very interesting. These are some great tricks I would never have thought of, like putting eggs in a jar and strapping a headlamp to a water bottle. I’ll be referring to these in the future.
That’s good that you found these tricks useful Ange, and yes please do come back and check them out before your next outdoor adventure. Thanks for stopping by.

Wow, that’s a very helpful list. I really liked the idea about the pool noodle on the awning bar. I can’t even count how many times I’ve hit my head against that. I had no idea about the nachos too! I’ll have to try that out…cheaper than fire bricks! Any good idea on how to keep the eggs cool when you put them in the jar? Or do you just suggest eating them relatively quickly so they don’t go bad? Great post!
That’s awesome that you found this post helpful. I’d suggest that you just keep them in a cooler or refrigerator if you’re taking an RV. Thanks for the comment! Good day to you.
Hey I checked your post and it’s quite great, to be honest I’ve never go to camping, but I really want to because I think it’s an experience really great just to go out to the nature and enjoy the nature sounds and such without the sounds of the cars all day. I will take some of these tips when I go to camping.
Best reagrds. Saúl
Hi Saul, I really think you should do that. Most of Humankind has actually forgotten what it’s like to be in complete outdoors in nature. Because of the busy cities and rush hour weeks, we get too use to the fast life and never really remember how we use to survive before all of this. Go do some camping friend and tell me what you think.
My goodness! I’m in awe of this article. Most of these things seem simple and basic, but I had never thought of doing any of these. Maybe it’s because I don’t go camping often. The trick that wowed me the most was the DIY reading lamp one. Might seem like common sense, but I wouldn’t have known it if I didn’t just read it.
Thanks for this!
Haha, glad you learned something Medu! That reading lamp puts out a lot of light believe it or not, and really awesome for illuminating your tent while you tell ghost stories 🙂
