5 Problems Buyers Face When Tent-Hunting

Posted on October 24, 2017 by Brandon

There’s a multitude of problems people seem to come across when scouring the internet for a tent to purchase.

Some are minor and some are major, but my point is; getting a tent that’s right for you is not easy.

If you’re an avid online shopper, there’s a good chance you’ve faced these problems already, and it’s not an easy battle.

Anyway, lets discuss what they are so you know what the heck I am talking about!

#1) Too many Options (Being Overwhelmed)

There’s a good reason why this is at number 1, because it is indeed the biggest problem people face.

There are SO many tents available, especially online. It makes it harder for people to know what tents are good and what ones are bad.

#2) Finding a Good Brand

Much like problem #1, nobody knows what brand to go with so they just jump from tent to tent trying to figure out which one to choose.

This makes people go in circles.

A lot of the time they are searching for weeks because they can’t even decide on a viable brand!

Fortunately for you, I’ve put together the most trusted brands here.

#3) Mixed Reviews

feedback

More often than not (heck, even with other products too), there are a large majority of mixed feedback.

When you feel you’ve found the perfect choice – BAM…somebody comes along and says the tent leaked and they ended up packing up at 2 AM and going home!

Having mixed reviews makes the entire [shopping] process much harder than it already is.

Wouldn’t it be easier if reviewers said something like this:

Tent A is good, but Tent B is bad.

Not “Tent A seemed so good but it blew over on our first night, while we have not even tested Tent B yet”.

If only the world was all black and white…

#4) The Price

Although not a huge problem, it can definitely get in the way when shopping online.

You might find a tent for $200 then find out there’s a higher quality one for $100.

The problem here is that you have just found another tent that needs extensive research.

There goes another hour finding the features, quality and weatherproof abilities.

Add these tents up over a few days, weeks and on occasion even months, you are doing much more research than what actually needs to be done.

#5) A Perfect Fit

I know many camp goers who’ve done research for weeks before making the almighty decision to press “add to cart”.

I get it, it’s not just a matter of choosing a 6-person tent and purchasing it JUST because you’re in need of a 6-person tent.

Finding the perfect tent means you’re constantly searching for the features, how much wiggle room you’ll have with your gear inside, how long it will last, and if it can fit a queen-sized air mattress or not!

Finding the perfect tent is definitely not easy.

This is a major problem people face, and another reason why shoppers spend hours at a time doing research on just one tent!

So What Should You Do?

Well my friend, I am no stranger to the online shopping world.

In fact, I review tents and other online products to discover the real quality of them.

In my years of doing what I do, I know exactly what I’m looking for every time and it doesn’t even take me long.

Yes, there are mixed reviews, but the secret is knowing how to debunk them before you make your final decision.

This saves hours, days and sometimes even WEEKS of research.

Don’t worry, I’m not trying to sell you anything here.

Actually, everything is shown in a free article of mine.

Well there you have it, 5 BIGGEST problems online shoppers face when trying to find a good tent.

Luckily I have created a free guide to make this process much easier and quicker.
