Suisse Sport Adventurer Sleeping Bag Review – Great Value for Money

Posted on November 8, 2017 by Brandon

Sleeping in the great outdoor is simply amazing, and what makes it even better is having a decent sleeping bag that will keep you warm, dry and comfortable.

In this Suisse Sport Adventurer Sleeping Bag review I will attempt to find the real quality of it, all its features and the overall value.

Just like you, I too want a decent nights sleep.

I don’t want to be left shivering all night while my camping buddy’s snuggled up and toasting warm.

I need to be guaranteed to be “sleeping like a baby”, NOT guaranteed a bad camping experience.

So lets find out what it is all about!

Summary:

This sleeping bag is great value for money!

There are a large amount of people loving the light weight, comfort and free compression sack. The only major complaint is the low quality zippers.

Sometimes they will break, get stuck or just won’t run smoothly. And other times you might receive one with near-perfect zippers.

For the price though, I say you cannot go wrong.

 Pros Cons
  • Provides the same features as the more expensive sleeping bags
  • Lightweight – can compact down to a mere 12 x 7 pounds, making lots spare room in your backpack for other items
  • Will keep you warm down to 30 degrees as long as you wear loose clothing. Anything lower than that and you will freeze
  • Really good quality considering the low price
  • Comes with a FREE compression sack!
  • The zipper doesn’t move as smoothly as the more expensive bags. Sometimes they get stuck and break easily
  • Not good for tall people or overly large men. It’s narrow from top to bottom. Anyone with a 40 inch wide chest will struggle getting comfortable

The Rundown

The manufacturers claim that this sleeping bag will keep you warm when you’re counting on it the most.

It is designed for adults and light enough for backpacking the wilderness.

Basically, it’s compact, lightweight and can be stored easily as a result.

It consists of a double layer construction, contoured top and temperature rating of 30 degrees, which is the lowest rating recommended (this is the survival rating).

However, the comfortable temperature rating is 40-55 degrees.

And to top it all off, it is the #1 best seller in Suisse Sport sleeping bags!

A compression stuff sack is also included in the purchase.

Key Features

  • Designed for weight-conscious campers and backpackers
  • Double layer construction eliminates cold spots and ensures an even warmth throughout
  • The contoured top actually “molds” around your head for maximum comfort
  • The draft tube stops cold air from seeping into zipper holes, ultimately making you feel cold
  • An interior pocket holds your valuables such as: mobile phone, keys, wallet, radio, etc

Who Should Buy This Tent?

Well it’s been designed for ultimate simplicity.

The compactability and lightweight of this sleeping bag make it a viable choice for “ultralight” backpackers – where every pounds matters the most.

So if you’re looking for a LIGHTWEIGHT, affordable, warm-weather sleeping, you should seriously consider this one for your outdoor needs.

Where Can I Buy?

Amazon.com sell these sleeping bags at the lowest prices, fastest deliveries and even free shipping for all orders over $25.

The 30-day return policy is another great perk they offer.

Simply get a full refund if you decide you don’t like your purchase, or get a repair (free of charge) with any defects and damages you experience.

This return policy is basically a “money-back guarantee”, and it works extremely well in my opinion.

Do I Recommend The Suisse Sport Adventurer Sleeping Bag

In all honesty, you get what you pay for.

I’m not saying that it’s bad, because there is more than enough positive reviews backing up the “good” claims.

However, the only time I would recommend this bag is in the summertime.

This is to be on the absolute safe side.

You just don’t know if the low quality zippers are going to break at freezing temperatures.

And when zippers break, so does the insulation abilities.

Broken zippers allow cold air to get in and make you freezing cold (in low temperatures anyway).

So do I recommend it?

Well, the only major complaint I could find was the low quality zippers.

People have found this sleeping bag to be warm, compact and lightweight. For a bag in this price range what more could you ask for?

It’s not the best quality but decent enough to last a while. It will last for years if used for seasonal camping only.

So YES, I actually do recommend the Suisse Sport Adventurer Sleeping Bag.

For the price, you can’t go wrong!

Alternative/Similar Products

Another sleeping bag worth every penny, in the same price range and doesn’t have problems with the zippers is the Coleman Brazos Cool Weather Sleeping Bag. This one also has the same temperature rating and easily fits bigger people!

The Suisse Sport Everest Sleeping Bag is also inexpensive, warm and comfortable. However, it isn’t the best choice for summer camping since you may overheat. It has a few complaints about the zippers but nowhere near the same amount as the Suisse Sport Adventurer Sleeping Bag.

My Final Opinion

A massive positive about this sleeping bag is the good quality, high comfort, lightweight and of course; the INCLUDED compression stuff sack.

This seems to be what everyone loves about this sleeping bag.

What also really stood out to me was the bad zippers.

However, for a sleeping bag in this price range that offers this much quality and value, it should not really matter.

That’s what the 30-day return policy is for anyway.

This gives you time to check out your purchase, to give it a real world test before making your final decision.

You can either keep it or send it back.

Well, I could go on but I think you’ve heard enough of my rambling 🙂

I’m a big fan of this sleeping bag and cannot recommend it enough!

The value and price is almost unbeatable.
