The Browning Camping Big Horn Two-Room Tent has a freestanding design, allow it to be pitched without the guy lines and increasing wind resistance.
The fiberglass poles and steel uprights offers extra strength and support in strong winds.
It features a tall center height so virtually anyone can stand and walk around freely (maximum height is 7-foot) and a vertical wall system for increased living space.
A room divider is included in the purchase so you have privacy from other campers.
There are 2 very large doors, 6 total windows and even a mesh roof…all resulting in maximum ventilation and stargazing views on summer nights!
The unique hub design creates an easy setup and the awnings on the door means more rain protection.
The floor is a durable Oxford for immense ground protection and double the durability and weight of a normal nylon floor.
Other features include: mesh storage pockets for electronics and valuables, a polyester rain fly for protection in the rain and guy ropes to hold up in the wind.

It truly is a master at battling the rain and I have no problems with the waterproofing whatsoever.

Is It Windproof?
The Browning Camping Big Horn Two-Room Tent has been in winds of 40 MPH and sometimes even more and held up without fail.
I’ve found that so many purchasers love the fact that it withstands high winds without any stakes coming out of the ground and guy lines breaking.
However, be sure that all stakes are hammered deep into the soil to make a safe nights sleep possible.

What Makes This Tent Unique
Well aside from the fact that it’s absolutely massive, but because it stands out from the crowd with the amount of weatherproofing it provides.
This is one of the best family tents I’ve come across that’s affordable and able to combat the elements extremely well.
Considering it won’t let any rain inside even in a flash flood, I have not reviewed a family tent so far that can do this and I have no other choice but to love it because of that!
This tent is definitely unique as I have never seen anything like it.
Who It’s For
It is a family tent so it’s best used for a large family or group of friends.
The fact that it has good resistance against the elements makes it a great choice where you’ll be experiencing unpleasant weather conditions.
Although that’s not to say it can’t work as a backyard party tent or family event because it is absolutely massive and has enough room for lots of campers!

Other big tents that come to mind when I think of the Big Horn Two-Room Tent is the Coleman Elite Montana 8 Tent.
Although it’s not as big, it still provides a luxury feel while you’re out in mother nature while being in a lower price range. There is zero complaints about the flooring material!
The CORE 9 Person Instant Cabin Tent is also very spacious, lower in price and doesn’t skimp on features.
It has stargazing opportunities and good water-resistance, however, it’s not as high quality as the Big Horn but a great alternative nonetheless.
The Verdict
There are a few certain people complaining about the floor material of this tent, however, this is before they go out and test in the field.
They are basing their review off of a simple first glance and giving it low stars because it “feels” low quality, when this is simply not the case.
This is an issue for people trying to make an informed decision, so I have to say that there is no problem with the floor material whatsoever because it is an Oxford and one of the highest quality available.
It is a great family tent that’s designed for 3 season use and unexpected high winds or rain.
When you use it in this instance, it’ll work like a charm, but steer away from its intended use and you face problem (such as in the winter time, heavy snow, etc).
Set it up properly, follow instructions and you can’t go wrong.

I’ve gone camping since I was a little boy. I’m almost glad we didn’t have this type of tent them because I may not have ever gone outside and interacted with nature… LOL. The vertical wall, plenty of space and the modular design really fill the needs of anyone with plenty of gear or the need to store items safely but not in the main sleeping area.

I love camping and this tent looks right up my street, I love going to places that are really out in rural locations so on a clear night the stars are much more visible and the option that this tent offers of taking off the canvas roof away to look at that stars is really appealing.
And the fact that it is 7 feet tall is amazing so we are actually able to stand up and move around more accessible.

There is nothing that I don’t now know about the Browning Camping Big Horn Two-Room Tent now that I have read this very thorough review. I really appreciate it when I’m searching a particular product and I come across a comprehensive description of the product. I mean that. I’ve had great tents, and I’ve had ones I thought would be great, but they had issues.
