What is this Sleeping Bag all About?
This bag is rated +5 Degrees Fahrenheit with a weight of 4.1 pounds.
Essentially, it is lightweight for the price and warm enough for extreme weather conditions.
It also contains body-mapping technology – simply put, there’s extra insulation where it’s needed, especially your feet.
The hood molds around your face so you stay comfortable and warm and the zippers are reinforced with draft tubes and an anti-snag design.

Do I Recommend This Sleeping Bag?
Because the rating is so low it can be used in below freezing temperatures while you stay alive, safe and warm.
And the best part?
Online reviews don’t lie my friend.
They can actually tell you the real quality of a product before you buy so you can avoid being ripped off.
Having more than 400 reviews means there is more than enough for us to determine the final result.
I have come to the conclusion that this bag is high value for money and one of the best mummy bags in its price range.
The weight is a little heavier than other mummy bags, but that’s to be expected when you’re paying less than $100 bucks!
If you want lighter with the same quality, warmth and comfort you’ll have to fork out a couple of hundred dollars – minimum.
So yes, I highly recommend this bag because it offers so much and you’ll EASILY get your moneys worth.
Alternative Sleeping Bags
If you don’t want to risk having zipper problems but want something similar you’ll have to pay double the price, because I literally cannot find anything that competes in the same price range!
It is called the Kelty Cosmic 20 Degree Sleeping Bag, and in all honesty it is the next best choice even though it costs more.
You may also like the Suisse Sport Adventurer Sleeping Bag, which still has zipper issues but at least it gets back into the compression sack easily and effortlessly.
My Final Opinion
Some people are claiming that it is BY FAR too cold for the advertised temperature rating.
However, they don’t understand that that is the survival rating, not the comfort rating!

It has minor zipper issues but nothing too serious to worry about.
And yes, it is struggle getting it back into the stuff sack.
So what do I really think?
All in all, it is an inexpensive sleeping bag that offers everything you need for a winter camp, backpacking trip or cool weather adventure.
