Do I Recommend The Nemo Galaxi 2P Tent?
I’ve researched this tent from the inside-out, discovered everything it offers and found all the flaws.
I’m happy to say that the flaws aren’t a biggie.
Yes, they are design flaws, and getting inside the tent while it’s raining WILL get a few drops inside.
However, just have a towel handy to capture all those little drops. At least it keeps you dry when everything’s closed!
Also, be sure to close the zippers right up and pay attention to them at all times.
If you don’t you might wake up with a spider sleeping by your side 😛
Other than that, this tent really does perform like a boss in the field.
The colors are great and the weatherproofing is amazing.
I have no doubts you will love this tent – highly recommended!
Alternative/Similar Products
The Marmot Limelight 2P has no trouble with the zipper system and definitely doesn’t get rain inside when climbing in. It’s in the same price range too!
The Eureka Alpenlite 2XT Tent is a little more expensive and heavier, however, it stands up to the most brutal winds and doesn’t leak even in days of torrential rain.
My Final Opinion
So many people buy this tent and love their purchase very much, and there’s a good reason why.
It has 2 awesome colors, it’s visually appealing and does what a tent is designed to do – keep you safe and sheltered from rain and wind.
For that reason I have no problems with this tent.
The design isn’t the greatest, I agree, but even more expensive tents have design flaws.
I’m a big fan of this tent and may have to add it to my “favorites” list.
Because the pros heavily outweigh the cons, and since it is one of the best tents in its price range, I have to say that it is HIGHLY recommended!
